What Are ENC and ANC?
There are several noise reduction capabilities in headphones, such as ANC, ENC, DSP, and CVC. The noise cancellation feature is critical to the earphone's functionality. One is to limit noise and avoid over-amplifying the volume, thus avoiding ear damage. The second step is to filter out background noise to enhance sound and call quality. There are two types of noise reduction: passive and active noise reduction. The term "passive noise reduction" refers to noise reduction by physical means. Passive reduction uses physical characteristics like the tight earphone’s head beam and the earmuff cavity. Passive noise reduction is exceptionally decent at isolating high-frequency noises (human voices) and decreases noise by roughly 15-20 dB on average. Active noise reduction refers to ANC, ENC, CVC,...
