EKSAtelecom Headsets Setup Instructions Under Common Systems
Note: Under normal circumstances, the EKSAtelecom headset does not need any settings. Just plug it in and use it. If you come into unusual circumstances, you can set it according to the following instructions.
* Setting up a headset with a USB port or USB dongle on a Windows 10 computer.
* Setting up a headset with a USB port or USB dongle on a Mac.
* Setting up a Bluetooth headset on a Windows 10 computer.
* Setting up an EKSAtelecom headset with USB dongle and Bluetooth (H5, H6 & H1 Plus).

Frequently Asked Questions About EKSAtelecom Headsets
* The microphone has no sound.
1. Please refer to the user manual to connect the headset and the computer correctly, confirm that the connection is in good contact, and turn on the headset (EKSA wired headsets are just plug-and-play). Then open a chat APP or game APP.
2. Make sure that the headset microphone is not muted, and the microphone of the computer is not muted too.
4. Change to a different USB port or computer for testing.
* The volume when using the microphone is low.
1. The microphone pole should be as close to the mouth as possible to improve the microphone sound effect.

* The headsets have no sound, or the quality of the sound is low.

* Headsets are noisy or intermittent.

4. If the headsets have batteries, they should be charged in time to ensure that the batteries have enough power. If the battery power is too low, the headsets will work abnormally.
5. Please change to another computer for testing.
* Headsets don't sound good enough.
1. Activate the 7.1 virtual surround sound of the headset when playing games to improve the sound effect. (Please make sure that the headset supports 7.1 virtual surround sound)
2. The sound quality of the new headset would significantly improve after a period of burn-in use.
3. Adjusting the position of wearing the headset, using a higher-quality audio source will effectively improve the sound quality.

* The microphone call is not good enough.
1. The microphone pole should be as close to the mouth as possible to improve the microphone sound effect.
2. Turn on the microphone's ENC (Environmental Noise Cancelling) function, which can effectively reduce noise interference (if the headset can switch the ENC function on and off).
3. Check the network condition on both sides of the call to prevent poor call performance due to poor network.

* Headsets don't power on / not work / unrecognized.

2. Check whether the power supply of the headset is normal, and ensure that the headset can be switched on and off normally.
3. Confirm the interface of the headset and the interface of the computer are no dirty; please keep the interface clean to prevent poor contact.
4. If the headsets have batteries, they should be charged in time to ensure that the batteries have enough power. If the battery power is too low, the headsets would work abnormally.
* Wireless headsets have a short transmission distance and the sound is stuck.
1. The transmission distance of EKSA wireless headsets is generally 10 meters. If the distance is too far, the sound quality will be degraded and the sound will be stuck.
2. It is necessary to charge the headset in time to ensure that the battery has sufficient power. If the battery power is too low, the transmission distance of the headset would get shortened.
3. Too many wireless devices in the surroundings will cause greater interference, so stay away from places with much interference when you're using a wireless headset.
